you’ve done the research. and That’s the problem.
You’ve tried to figure out how to take control of your finances.
And you’re still stuck.
You've read the articles.
Listened to the podcasts.
Asked your friends what they're doing.
You’ve been on Google at midnight more times than you'd like to admit.
And every source gave you a different answer to the same question:
“How do I take control of my finances?”
Build an emergency fund.
No — pay off debt first.
Actually, retirement should come first.
But what about that dental work you need?
And your parents say, “Just save as much as you can.”
As if that’s easy.
Every answer sounds right…
until you read the next one.
Now you’ve got five “right” answers — and no idea which one applies —to you.
So you’re left with the same question on repeat:
“How does this all apply to me?”
That’s what all that research got you.
More information.
Less clarity.
Every single time.
Here's why none of them agree: they don’t know you.
They're writing for everyone.
Not for you. Your income. Your family. Your stage of life and circumstances are unique. You’re not “everyone”.
And what that takes is personal guidance to unravel it. Make it make sense - for you and your life.
Welcome to a place where personalized guidance meets practical steps — so you finally have clarity, confidence, and control — and a plan for your money.
i understand what you’re feeling
That’s why I offer a free 30-minute call—to see if we click, if we’re the right fit, and to see if you feel comfortable.
This is a space where you can talk openly, without judgment—where we can unravel the hard parts together.
So you can get on with your life and stop worrying about money.
All of my clients say a variation of one thing after their first meeting: “This was so easy. I wish I’d done it sooner.”
Because our finances don’t get easier when we let them go. They get harder.
If the thought of talking to someone about your finances feels intimidating, you’re not alone.
You might wonder if you’re throwing good money after bad—or if talking to a stranger about something so personal, so “revealing,” is wise.
You may have sought help before and been talked down to. Not listened to. Or bombarded with financial jargon.
You feel vulnerable—maybe even ashamed—and worry you’ll be judged for past “mistakes.”
I’m here to tell you these fears are normal.
bridging the gap
I’m Debbie—financial coach, former Wall Street advisor, entrepreneur, dog mom, and wife.
After two decades working with thousands of individuals and families, I’ve seen it firsthand: more information rarely leads to more clarity. What people actually need is a partner to help them make sense of the noise.
In my early career on Wall Street, I helped people with their investments, but watched them struggle with their "everyday money." They were missing a holistic strategy—a bridge between information and real-world implementation. I saw a huge gap in the market for that kind of personal guidance focused on budgeting, debt, saving strategies, goal setting and implementation, so I created Quest Financial Coaching.
Quest gives you the knowledge you crave and the solutions you need to finally take control and create a plan for your money. My approach combines practical strategy with money psychology and simple, sustainable systems.
Because I believe everyone deserves a big, fulfilling life—and it all starts with 1:1 coaching.
Practical wisdom, personalized strategy, and a proven process.
Years in finance — making money simple to understand and manage.
Clients’ lives transformed by a behavioral and practical approach to money.
Couples, singles, and solopreneurs finally achieving lasting results.
helping clients create lasting financial change
how i’m different
-
My career in finance began in 1998 as a financial advisor at Smith Barney. I’ve managed the investment program for a billion dollar bank, and served as the financial plan manager for a high-end planning firm.
While I loved the investment world, I fell in love even more with the human side — and helping people manage the money that fuels their daily lives, not just their investments.
Throughout my career, I always knew I someday wanted my sole focus to become helping people with the financial choices that shape their daily lives.
Quest is the realization of that dream — to take high-level financial expertise and bring it home to you.

Many people wonder if hiring a financial coach is a smart investment — or if it’s just throwing money at a problem. But they also realize they need the support, structure, and a system to finally feel in control of their finances.
Unlike podcasts, books, or budgeting apps, 1:1 coaching is a highly personalized, deeply transformative experience that pays dividends for a lifetime.
After decades of seeing people shut out of professional financial help because they didn't meet a corporate "minimum," I believe this level of guidance should be accessible. My goal is to provide the expert tools you need to create lasting change — at a price that makes sense for your life.

Traditional budgeting can be frustrating, because it usually doesn't last, and then people think the problem lies with them. But a system that relies on willpower, deprivation, and requires you to track every penny — is rarely sustainable. Much like a crash diet: eventually, you give in and eat all the cake.
My approach is different. I use a flexible system designed to encompass your true cost of living — and how you actually live your life. Your money becomes easy to manage and fits your life instead of boxing you in.
I have used this exact system to manage my own money for the last 20 years. When my clients tell me it has changed not only the way they will manage their money for a lifetime, but also has changed their life, I know it works.

You can have a color-coded spreadsheet that would make your CPA swoon, but if you don't understand the money psychology running in the background — and how it drives your behavior — you’ll keep repeating the same patterns.
That’s why my practice integrates both the psychology and the practical side of money. You need both working together to not only get results, but to ensure they are lasting.
Otherwise, it’s like playing the piano with one hand. You’re missing out on the full composition, and in the case of your finances, you’re only addressing half the picture — and getting half the results.
-
My financial coaching isn’t theory. It’s not centered around money manifestation or motivational affirmations, but on the practical steps we implement together that make a profound difference in how your money works in your life.
Knowledge is only potential power; true power comes from applying what you learn to your own life. That’s why each session in my programs provides both insight and new concepts, followed by expert guidance and support on how to incorporate them into your own unique situation.
Much like a pilot navigating a plane through turbulence, as you build new habits and implement changes, I am there to steer you through life’s challenges — so that you can finally create traction and see lasting results.
